DRYPNZ COMMISSION

became aware of this local artist
DRYPNZ a little while back at the cuba street carnival. he recently had a show at this hecka cool gallery called
Manky Chops. i went in to check out his available works ... yeah yeah, i know ... get the house done first you say. phooey to you and you and you! (the house is being worked on simultaneously - i hired someone!)
i'm living my life full steam ahead and i'll do it all, thank you.
anyway, i liked one of the paintings but i also wanted something customized - you know, with a clown in it perhaps. i got in touch and he was cool enough to accommodate me with my request. he sent back a few sketches, one of which is above. with the economy in the dumper, i figured it was probably better to invest in art ... that way i can enjoy my investment instead of watching the value drop like an expelled, exhausted rocket booster. i'm banking on the fact that this guy is a hard working artist who is diligently creating a name for himself. in fact, he has another show in Melbourne coming up in the next few weeks. go DRYPNZ!!
deposit has been made, decisions have been made and in 5 weeks time, my painting will have been made.
i would love to meet drypnz at some stage and perhaps learn a thing or two from him so that i may propel myself a little more forward with my artistic endeavors.
aside from this ... life is hecka busy with that ridiculous film i'm working on. my salvation lies with the mountain.
be well peoples and remember ... say no to the gubbermnts flu shot.
