ONE YEAR FIVE MONTHS LATER...
the other day i got my XMEN 3 demo reel footage from weta. amazing! not the pinnacle of efficiency or anything seeing as i had requested this back toward the end of 2006. in fact, this was approved on Oct 30, 2006 if i may be exact.
and to make matters worse, one of the shots was a duplicate, one was a sequence of just black frames (which i'm sure wasn't in the movie - at least i have no memory of working on a pure black shot...but ya never know. we were working some long hours), one was partial black frames and the shot list was incomplete because i know i worked on more shots than that.
i'm gonna show this post to the wranglers at work and then send them the disk back and ask for it to be done properly. do people not take pride in their work any longer? what's going on?
if i did my job at that level of inefficiency, i'd be out of a job!
