I LUVZ INTERNETS
so i was sitting here prepping myself for a storyboarding brainstorming session. don't ask, you'll see before too long. only thing was - the music was too loud and i couldn't think like i wanted to...you know, creatively.
i have a remote control for the stereo within grabbing distance (literally 8 inches away) but i didn't want to just turn it down...i was enjoying the song and i wanted to pause it so i could continue after my think session.
sure, i could have gotten up and walked into the other room where the other laptop is - the one serving the music to my airtunes here in the front room. i'm not immune to getting up for something like that. i do it frequently actually. probably too much to be honest. so i wondered and thought to myself "is it possible to remotely control the iTunes on that other computer from RIGHT HERE on the couch?"
four minutes and 6 seconds later, i'm taking a screen snap of my newest friend/application which after a simple search had me sorted. another simple case of "you never know till you ask"
alright, now that i've procrastinated long enough...time for that brainstorming session - with no music!
