MA'S STICKY BUNZ

i had a cinnamon bun the other day at a cafe. it sucked! and i thought, i know i can do better than that...

so, i finally got off my lazy lazy and got that cast iron pan i've been needing to make ma's sticky bunz. mom had sent me the roll mix and the other ingrgedients i couldn't get down here quite some time ago where they've been sitting ever since.

without boring you with the details, i will just say i got a bit concerned during the process when i was rolling and kneading the dough because more and more of it was sticking to my hands. with enough extra flour though, i prevailed. not too bad for my first experience with a ball of dough.

the wait for them to cool off is killing me. gotta go check em. stomach is grumbling...

UPDATE: hmmm, after 3 of them (you know, just to be sure) i discovered that they are a tiny bit undercooked - but even undercooked, it smoked the one i had in the cafe the other day. mom, i'm tellin you...you can make a killing out here with some of your recipes.
