LATE NIGHT P-SHOP
can't sleep? why not play in photoshop till 4am? busy weekend all told. getting ready for some DIY. gonna gut the guest bedroom this weekend with pete's help. it is a win win situation because he is in the process of buying a house as well which will need work as well. seems a good time to learn some new skills.
sunday, as i was at the hardware store, i was missing out on an extraordinary event just around the corner at island bay. seems we (NZ) had a visitor, a huge southern right whale just off shore. seems it came in to scratch its belly. the green fins in the photo attached to that article? they belong to my co-worker paul. more than a few co-workers joined the water to dive with the whale. a humbling experience one told me.
i wish i had known, i'd have rented a suit and been in the water too. perhaps next time. from the photo mail list at work, someone sent out a few photos of the experience. i nabbed the best one. pretty sweet, eh? wish i knew who took it so i could give them credit. well done to whoever took it. thank you.
