sunday here and this is my coffee sipping view. who'd have thought that the gold at the end of the rainbow was a sunken treasure kind of gold? anyone up for a dive? where's my dry suit? nah, forgeddit
noon now as the stomach rumbles...perhaps i should crawl outta

despite the quiet lack of facts on this here lil ol' blog, there is much happening behind the scenes. in fact, two new HUGE endeavors (which i can not elaborate on) have crept up on me since we've undertaken the already enormous task of starting a new HD stock footage website: www.hdmotherlode.com. that, by the way, inches closer to being online daily. you try printing and faxing documents to the canadian offices from the australian outback where connectivity is spotty at best. soon.
tried to see the german film "
the lives of others" last night at the local art house cinema. i say tried because we ended up leaving due to the fact that the film was out of focus for the first 30 seconds. in those pivotal 30 seconds though, were flashed two screens of text which i'm certain contained some very crucial data which my not knowing would have certainly affected the entire rest of the film. i quickly demanded a refund and we instead rented another film that i had been wanting to see. tonight, we try again.
that reminds me of a story a co-worker told me about her movie going experience from last weekend where she went to see the latest 'harry potter' flick. what she shared with me appalled me to no end. imagine a movie going experience where people are continually loudly talking across the theater to one another. an experience where the woman next to you sings during all the quiet parts, then takes a smoke break and asks 'so, what happened in the last few minutes' upon her return...it goes on and it gets worse...if there was ever a case for a refund - that was it. i felt equally justified in my asking for a refund.
time for some
sinkers...
