THE CONTRAPTION WORKS
this was just a quick test as i played with the settings on the camera and the motion head. the first clip ended up panning far too fast and i had my interval set too far apart for my liking so i stepped it down a notch to capture one frame every 5 seconds.
if you pay close attention as you play the clip, you'll see it is a timelapse complete WITH the panning motion from the new toy shown below. so, it works...now all i need to do is refine my understanding of the usage and enhance my skills of operation.
