WE GOT SPIRIT, HOW 'BOUT YOU?
i had a friend from weta workshop do some amazing electronics work which i would have never been able to do. essentially what he has done is give me the capacity to run a portable hard drive in the field when i'm far from civilization (and a power outlet) which enables me to offload HD footage from the camera. another friend turned me on to this solution (he's the real genius here) and i'm all too happy to now have my own customized battery charger / power adapter.
today is a joyous day indeed. if anyone knows anything about booze...you'll see how happy i am about this achievement. for those who don't know anything about booze...just know this 24 year aged bottle of scotch was rather spendy. an easy swap in my eyes.
if you look carefully, you'll see i'm wearing my KONG t-shirt which another co-worker (hillary yeo) made for us. it's cute, props to him for sharing his design...
