LET THERE BE LIGHT
finally finished up with the electrician (aka: sparky) after many many many months of intermittent work and an ever growing list of ideas on my behalf. can't wait to get that bill. the most desired aspect of all the work and the last to be installed were the reading lights over the bed (pictured). using them now actually. when i went to the big day out concert in Auckland at the beginning of the year, the hotel room i stayed in had these reading lights. i fell in love with the idea and decided to have some installed in my room during the renovation process. good call. i'm diggin 'em.
next up...i think i should get someone in to patch all the holes the electrician cut in the house. i've been told this whole house thing is a never ending process of change and enhancements. they weren't lyin' - what a weird combination...something that's kinda fun and something that kinda sucks at the same time.
