ripped off. i wish someone would have showed me this version much sooner in life. my skewed vision of the world is now set a little more 'proper' with the knowledge of
this map. i'm heading to the store pronto to pick meself ...(that's not a typo)... up a copy of the world in it's proper scale. read that site and just take in some of those numbers. whoa!
it's fascinating to see just how
OFF TARGET the visual scale is on the more common Mercator projection version (that's the version we all grew up with and consider normal). and you thought you were small before....
