WINTER SOLDIER
just saw this documentary entitled "Winter Soldier" which caught my eye as i was flipping through the world cinema showcase catalog. it was an interesting insight into the atrocities of the vietnam war told by the vietnam veterans themselves. it was filmed in 1971 at the winter soldier hearings held in detroit. if you're at all curious to hear some of what really went on from those who were there...not the filtered version the media or the government wants you to believe...i highly recommend seeing this movie. it's harsh black and white, it's rough around the edges, it's raw and some of it is hard to swallow. educate yourself and see this film if you can find it. if you're so inclined, you can purchase the dvd H E R E
