REFLECTING BACK
now that our work on Xmen3 is behind us we're back looking at "KONG" footage for the extended dvd. 212 more shots of it to be specific. ay-yi-yi-yi-YI !!! this footage is hard to look at a second time and i'm not the only one who thinks so either. looking back, Xmen3 was a walk in the park by comparison - so easy.
there was a point during the first bit of "KONG" where we were looking at such horrible plates, i thought it would be both relevant and funny to design crew shirts that showcased the lighting that we spent so much time staring at and removing from the film. i only got as far to asking matt mueller to shoot some photos of the set for me. time was short and that missed opportunity is now only a sad little blog entry.
