HOUSE THAT KONG BUILT

i was jokingly saying that i was going to buy a house during this film. it would be the 'house that KONG built' because all the cash that bought the house came directly from this movie project. well, after looking at a few places and putting bids on two of them, i actually managed to realize that little goal. hasn't sunk in yet and i'm not sure when that'll actually hit me but i figured i should chime in here to give a little of an update as to what's been happening in my little southern world. just working too much and buying houses on lunch breaks, nothing out of the ordinary really.
when i woke today, it felt a little more real but i don't really think it'll sink in until i move my belongings in and turn the key myself.
here's the text for the ad where the house was for sale...purely for the sake of nostalgia down the line:
This cosy 1940's 3 bedroom home is enviably positioned to enjoy great sun and a spectacular panoramic sea vista. Located just a few minutes drive to the city and with all of Mount Victoria lookout and town belt as your playground, this is one of the best locations in Wellington and I would challenge anyone to find better value in the area. There is off street parking and potential for garaging if required. This very solid and structurally sound home is tidy (new kitchen) but also has potential to improve or even develop the 545 sqm section making this an absolute bargain for discerning couples, first home buyers, professionals or small families.
