up up and away...
welp, the antarctic adventure is now behind me and i'm sitting here in beautiful (and i'm not using that word lightly) Utah where i'm awaiting my departure for new zealand once again. this time my stay down there will be wrapped around the film remake of the 1933 classic, KING KONG.
Peter Jackson was a boy of 9 years when he was awe struck by the giant gorilla. that event forever solidified what it was that that man would do with his life...make films. all these years later and still chasing and succeeding at his dream of making films, he's now being gifted with the opportunity to remake his favorite film of all time. i'm looking very forward to being able to contribute to this project as evidenced by the past few months growing anticipation. i'm sure that'll all change in about a week and a half after i get settled back into the VFX work and the grind has reached full speed.
