busy boy
this past weekend seemed long to me for some reason. possibly because i went out on friday night which i rarely do. had a friend (the band 'Anyone') playing a gig at the viper room and i might add that it went very well too. SOOO much better than the last show of theirs that i was able to take in.
saturday was laundry - reading day as i sat inside and kept as cool as possible with the AC on for a change. first time in the AC since i've been living at the current location and how nice it was!! thanks pete!! even ran a test of the audio gear again just to make sure i'd be all set for the interview that's going down on monday night.
sunday was a trip to OC with chris and jill for chris' b-day fiesta with his family...hadn't seen them in a while and it was good to catch up. we hung low at the dana point harbor and got to take a peek at chris' parent's boat. chili dogs, b-day cake, fruit and all the regular goodies were available. highlight of the day though was some sibling rivalry between two brothers belonging to one of the guests. the younger of the two bit his older brother on the back, even drew some blood if i'm not mistaken. he's gonna be trouble when he gets older.
i must also mention that i've selected two very kind people from the various responses i received from my craigslist.com posting. we're under way. i have that interview i mentioned above in about 3.5 hours. looking forward to it. should be revealing... more later.
