sick powerbook
it seems i got me one sick little powerbook with a failed hard drive. luckily it's the smaller of the two and not necessarily my main work machine. seems i'm not the only one either:

i've sent it to a nice little company up in san francisco to have some of the data extracted before i entrust it to the hotshots at the apple store to replace the drive altogether. that whole process will probably cost me a small fortune. am i bummed? sure. am i mad? not really? why's that? well, it's a man made machine and i already know the world is an imperfect place. couple that knowledge with the fact that my uncle recently had a heart attack and i realize it's not anything to get my panties in a bunch over. patience + money = healthy mac.
so if you've been wondering why i've not been online recently, that's the reason. shant be too long before i'm wired and public again.
