antarctica time
welp, after literally piles of paperwork, multiple visits to various doctors across the country, more needles than i care to recall, and weeks of waiting, the word finally came in, Antarctica is a GO. i repeat, Antarctica - is - a - GO!!
here is the letter that i got back from the RPSC Medical Dept on this fine wednesday morning...

BONUS! with any luck at all, i'll soon be staring at this clock (which is located in the galley down at the McMurdo station) to find out what time of the day it is.
now...if i only knew when i departed and what was next....
