so....i get this e-mail from mathieu breaking down the prices for a 2 week dive trip to the great barrier reef; a trip that i was indifferent about until this e-mail graced my inbox two days ago. my indifference has gone away now and i'm booked to depart wellington on nov 18th where i'll head to sydney to hook up with mathieu. from there we take another short flight up to cairns where we'll begin our dive adventure. we're planning on getting our advanced open water certificate while there as well. all in all it should be a nice way to wind down after completing this epic trilogy's last episode.
now if i can just keep myself safe from these: bristle worms, sea jellies and other stingers, fire coral, cone shells, anemones, blue ringed octopus, sea urchins and crown of thorns sea stars, sea snakes, stingrays, sharks, moray eels, barracuda and venomous fish...i'll be laughin.
