built for comfort, not for speed

long gone are the days where i used to do manual labor and now i know why...it sucks! i've blown out my ankle somehow and that is making the job somewhat of a task. i'm slowly warming up to the nightshift and i'm hoping it gets easier day by day.

we had a missed opportunity last night when a bunch of us gathered for a phone call to the international space station. that was scheduled but i guess the com window was a bit off and we never did receive the call. that's kind of a bummer because i was one of a handful that was allowed to ask a question of the astronaut (sp?). i would have asked this: if there was one aspect - positive or negative - that you could have taken away up there in space, what would it be and why? guess we'll never know.

here's another sunset photo from the crary building the other night. pretty spectacular actually. hope it's not too dark like it is on this pc.
